and husband of 53 years to Vicy Hazel (Watts) Dingess,
three of his sons are ministers, Bro. Raymond was also a
Free Will Baptist minister for 46 years and was an inspiration to us all.

and wife of 53 years to Raymond Dingess,
three of her sons are ministers, Sis. Hazel was also a
a wonderful singer for the Lord, all of her Christian life,
and was an inspiration to us all.

The Step of Death
(His Last Message)

The REV. CALVIN CURTIS EVANS,
of Pedro, Ohio,
passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006,
at the University Community Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
The Lawrence County, Ohio native was born March 30, 1930,
the son of the late Ersel and Ruby Roth Evans.
The Rev. Evans was an ordained Free Will Baptist minister
and served in the ministry for more than 50 years.
He was the founder of Evangelistic Outreach in Ironton,
He was a member of Union Free Will Baptist Church
and was a graduate of Decatur High School.
He did his undergraduate work at the Luther Rice Seminary.
He received his masters degree from Emmanus Seminary
and Doctorate degree from International Seminary.
He also received honorary doctorates from Marietta Bible Seminary
and Bethel Bible College. Besides his parents,
he was preceded in death by a son, Keith Evans.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Henry Evans, whom he married April 29, 1948

ELDER CHARLES B. LUCAS SR., 69, of Wayne, W.Va.,
went to be with the Lord Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 27, 1934, in Stiltner, Wayne County, W.Va.,
a son of the late William Taylor and Brookie Perry Lucas.
Charles was a faithful member of Old Bethlehem Association of the
United Baptist Church for 45 years, an ordained minister for 25 years
and the pastor of the Salem United Baptist Church.
